Who is Peter M. Wucetich
During his legal career, Mr. Wucetich has handled many high profile cases with cases being brought to trial in the areas of banking litigation, criminal law, dangerous condition of public property, employment litigation, fraud, insurance coverage litigation, insurance bad faith litigation [first & third party], real estate litigation, police misconduct, legal malpractice and medical malpractice and personal injury.
Since admission to the State Bar of California in December of 1976, Mr. Wucetich has participated as lead counsel in more than 180 jury trials. Mr. Wucetich has represented the following entities: AAA, Mercury Insurance Group; Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, State Farm Insurance Company, Reserve Insurance Company, and Budget Rent A Car. Some verdicts have been published in national periodicals. He was co-counsel in a significant case wherein he represented the County of Los Angeles in the case of Geffen versus the County of Los Angeles, a quadriplegic case involving the dangerous condition of public property. He was lead trial counsel in a police misconduct case entitled Tolleson versus the City of West Covina wherein the plaintiff obtained a verdict of 5.7 million dollars against the City of West Covina.
Prior to admission to the State Bar of California in December 1976, he was employed in the insurance industry in underwriting and claims in the areas of ocean marine insurance, property insurance and errors and omissions insurance claims.
